We are going to move our official Open House to next Thursday, 8/15 from 5-7 pm for all students and the parents to come and walk the building, meet the teachers, check out the different student club tables, and the latest Warrior Spirit Wear from our Indian Land Booster Club. Additionally, for our new incoming Indian Land High School students, this Saturday, August 10th, the school will be open from 10 am -12 pm for any student and their parents that might want to come and take a tour of the building. We will have small group tours lead by our student ambassadors and JROTC cadets.

August 9, 2024 - Due to weather concerns and in order to provide time for schools to be ready for Monday, August 12, 2024, ALL student orientation for 6th and 9th graders and Indian Land 5th and 7th graders has been canceled.
Open houses and other orientations have been canceled, and you will receive information from your child's school regarding rescheduling.
Lancaster County School District will be OPEN for normal operating hours for staff.

Lancaster County School District has been in contact with Emergency Management. Lancaster County is currently under a flood watch. Due to potential flooding and hazardous conditions caused by Tropical Storm Debby, as a safety precaution, ALL Lancaster County schools, buildings, and facilities will be closed on Thursday August 8, 2024. ALL events and activities are cancelled.
ALL open houses and orientations scheduled for August 8, 2024 are canceled and will be rescheduled.

Good evening, this is Rick Parker, Principal of Indian High School calling with an important update regarding Freshman/New to ILHS Drop-in Open House and Warrior Freshman Orientation. On Thursday, August 8th, we will have a freshman and any students new to ILHS Drop-in Open House from 5-7 pm. Students and Parents will have the opportunity to walk around the school, visit teachers working in their classrooms, and visit various booths set up in the Commons Area such as PTSO, Booster Clubs, and purchase the latest Indian Land Spirit Wear. On Friday, August 9th, we will have a Warrior Freshman Orientation from 8 am – 12 pm. This event is for Freshman only. Students may be dropped off starting at 7:30 am. During this “jump start to high school” student event, they will learn about expectations, take student lead tours, hear from counselors, and pick up their chrome books. Lunch will be provided at 11:15 am and pick up will be between 11:45 am – 12:15 pm. 24-25 Student Parking Pass Info! We are excited to welcome you back for the 24-25 school year. Many of you have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to purchase your parking pass. The Parking pass application and GoFan will open at 5:00 PM today. Parking Passes will ONLY be sold on GoFan!
Please complete the application prior to purchasing your pass. Read the parking rules and understand that parking is a privilege and we want you to behave as such.
Provided the passes have arrived, our goal is to distribute passes on July 31st from noon until 5:00 pm and August 1st from noon until 5:00 pm.

(Please note, only students with a grade below 40 are eligible to register for the
initial credit program at Barr St.)
Special Notes
1. Summer school at ILHS will only be offered to students who have made between
40 – 59 in math, science, social studies, and ELA.
2. Summer school will be offered at no cost to students this year.
3. Students are required to provide their own transportation to class each day.
4. Students are required to provide their own lunch and snacks.
5. Students are required to report each day from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday
through Thursday, until they have completed the course.

Indian Land High School Choirs will present our Dinner Theatre production: Battle of the Bands- Live on the Air on May 17th and 18th. Dinner is included and served before the show from 5:30-6:45. Doors open for the show at 6:30, and the show begins at 7:00 pm.
Dinner will be catered by ILHS's very own Ms. O'Connell and the Foods classes. Dinner will be a Taco Bar, with the choice of Chicken, Beef, or Vegetarian options. Tacos will be served with all the fixings and cilantro rice. Dinner will also include a dessert.
If purchasing dinner tickets- tickets must be purchased by 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 14th. (That is tomorrow.) Show-Only Tickets will be available until the night of the show.
Come out for dinner and a show while supporting the ILHS Choirs and Foods Program. All funds go to support our programs, and choir funds/donations will go toward funding students' trips to New York next year as we go to perform in Carnegie Hall.

We wanted to inform you that this Friday, 5/10, we will be hosting a special cakewalk event to support one of our fellow warriors who has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia.
To show our support and help raise funds for him and his family during this tough time, we kindly ask for a participation fee of $2 for each round of the cakewalk.
