Congratulations to our Holiday Card winners! We will release each design separately over the next couple of weeks. We are proud of our students and amazed at their talent. Thank you art teachers for cultivating that talent. Winners, their art teacher, and principal all received blank cards to share. The LCSD Board of Trustees and Board attorney received a set of blank cards. Cards signed by Dr. Fitzpatrick were sent to our partners.
OSPREY VILLAGE Raffle Fundraiser
The STEAM Team and WE the People Clubs are excited to join forces in hosting a raffle
fundraiser to support the construction journey of Osprey Village, a community project aimed at creating a sustainable and inclusive living environment for adults with disabilities. The raffle will feature five gift baskets, each awarded to a lucky winner. These baskets include Starbucks coffee cups and packages, Redstone movie theater gift cards, and other exciting items. Raffle tickets are available on GOFAN at $10.00 for 3 tickets or at the school. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to advancing the Osprey Village mission. Osprey Village is a new residential community for adults with I/DD located between Hilton
Head and Beaufort in the coastal region of SC. We offer: individualized personal services for each of our residents; full daily activities schedule: recreation, exercise, socialization, leisure; state-of-the-art job training, placement, and on-the-job coaching; lifelong residential care with age-in-place and Assisted Living Care.

Proviso 1.103 in the General Appropriations Bill, H.5100 of 2024 reads the following: To receive state funds allocated for State Aid to Classrooms, a school district shall implement a policy adopted by the State Board of Education that prohibits access to personal electronic communication devices by students during the school day. for purposes of this provision, a personal electronic communication device is considered to be a device not authorized for classroom use by a student, utilized to access the Internet, wi-fi, or cellular telephone signals.
