Congratulations to seniors Malik Tinsley and Gavin Hood on being selected to play in the North/South All-Star Game tomorrow at Brookland-Cayce High School at 1:45 p.m. with the North Squad! Both student-athletes will also be recognized tonight at the All-State Banquet. Head Coach Jerron Cauthen shared that it has truly been a privilege to coach these young men. Today our academic scholars celebrated St. Patrick's Day. Their teachers provided a delicious Irish breakfast, including green pancakes, and the library staff held a special Irish cultural lesson in the library. The students especially enjoyed the River Dance activity. Special thanks to former LHS school counselor, Ms. Kathy Prete, for bringing cake and balloons to the students.

The LHS Student Government is excited to announce our very first LHS Spring Dance. It will take place on Friday March 20th from 6-8pm. Tickets are on sale for $5 and all students are invited to purchase tickets via OSP or through the Bookkeeper. Dress will be semi-casual, so think similar to HOCO. We hope to see you there!
