Students in10th and 11th grades:
You are scheduled to take either the PSAT(10th grade and about 18-20 11th grade students) or the ASVAB (all 11th grade students NOT taking the PSAT) on Wednesday, October 23.
You will need to arrive at school on time for school to start at 9:10 and you will begin testing as soon as the announcements are completed. If you are late to school, you will not be able to test once the testing session has begun.
For the PSAT, here are the reminders for you to prepare for TEST DAY. What to bring/know about test day materials:
Your fully charged Chromebook/device. You must have the app installed and exam setup complete before test day if you're testing with a personal device.
A power cord and/or a portable charger. We cannot guarantee you’ll have access to an outlet during testing. Your device should be able to hold a charge for 3–4 hours.
A pencil or pen.
Scratch paper will be provided—do not bring your own.
An approved calculator. There’s a graphing calculator built into the app, but you can bring your own if you like.
An approved photo ID if you’re homeschooled or if you’ll be testing at a school that is different from the one you usually attend.
For the PSAT, you may use an approved calculator that is listed on this College Board approved list.
For juniors taking the PSAT, bring either your paper receipt or your digital test ticket/receipt to show you have paid the Junior Fee for this test. If you have not paid yet, this must be done in order to enter the testing room. The digital window is closed, so you will need to bring cash or a check.
For the ASVAB, this is a paper/pencil test, so bring your pencils. We will have extra if you need them.
Students taking tests will receive an email with their room assignment by alphabet. Please make sure you have read all information in all emails.

Multilingual Learner Department’s upcoming Parent Outreach Workshop, is scheduled for Saturday, October 26 at ILHS. This workshop is designed to equip parents of ML students with the tools and information they need to support their children, particularly in navigating the challenges of adolescence.
